The Higher School of Textile and Clothing Industries (ESITH) will host its 19th ESITH-Enterprise Forum on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, bringing together academic and industry leaders to examine the future of education in an increasingly digitalized world.

The event, taking place at ESITH's auditorium, will feature three focused sessions exploring educational transformation and corporate skill requirements in response to technological advancement. Mohamed Lahlou, ESITH's board chairman, and Ryad Mezzour, Minister of Industry and Commerce, will deliver opening remarks.

The morning session will examine essential industry competencies in the age of digitalization, with experts from APEBI, Casablanca Stock Exchange, National Center for Scientific and Technical Research, Richbond, and Maroclear discussing new production systems and adapted training methods.

The afternoon will concentrate on innovative teaching practices, with the second session focusing on higher education transformation. Discussions will cover distance learning, skills assessment, and evolving teacher-student relationships. Research professors from ESITH, INPT, UM6P, and École Centrale de Casablanca will share insights alongside engineering students.

The final session will address training programs and educational tools needed to meet business expectations. Representatives from Microsoft, Cisco, and ECS Informatique will share expertise on digital transformation and faculty skill development.

The ESITH-Enterprise Forum serves as a crucial platform for dialogue between academia and industry, promoting better alignment of training programs with labor market demands. This year's edition aims to provide practical solutions for navigating tomorrow's challenges in the context of advancing technology and changing industrial needs.
