Empowering Africa's Unsung Agricultural Female Farmers : OCP Africa's Bold Initiative

Employing a multifaceted approach, this program strives to provide direct access to high-quality seeds, fertilizers, and other indispensable agricultural inputs, while concurrently enhancing capacity through agricultural training and financial literacy programs.
By arming these women with cutting-edge knowledge and practices in soil quality, crop rotation, and pest management, the Women in Agribooster initiative empowers them to adopt sustainable farming methods that enhance yields and augment incomes. Furthermore, the program facilitates crucial connections between female farmers and markets, ensuring their products garner due recognition in the economic landscape.

Since its inception, 5,000 women farmers have enrolled in the program, benefiting from $155,000 in new investments and witnessing a remarkable 25% increase in their yields.
