Electoral list revision deadline set for December 31, 2025
Morocco’s Ministry of the Interior has announced that the annual revision process of the national electoral lists for the year 2026 is now underway, with citizens having until December 31, 2025 to submit their registration requests.
According to the ministry, all eligible Moroccan citizens who are not yet registered—particularly those aged 18 or who will turn 18 by March 31, 2026—are encouraged to file their applications before the deadline. Registration can be completed in person at local administrative offices or digitally through the official platform listeselectorales.ma.
The ministry also reminded residents who have recently changed their place of residence to update their electoral information within the same timeframe. Those who moved to a different commune or district must request a transfer to the appropriate electoral list, while citizens who changed address within the same locality are required to inform the local authorities to update their information.
In addition, already registered voters can verify their personal electoral data by visiting local administrative offices or by sending a free SMS to 2727, a service designed to streamline the verification process.
The annual revision aims to ensure accurate and up-to-date electoral lists ahead of future elections, reinforcing transparency and civic participation across the country.
