Elbit Systems makes its Marrakech Air Show debut with advanced defense technologies
Israeli defense technology group Elbit Systems is set to make its first appearance at the Marrakech Air Show, marking a new step in the Moroccan event’s growing role as an international meeting point for the aerospace and defense industries.
The 2026 edition of the show is taking place from October 7 to 10 at the Royal Moroccan Air Force base in Marrakech, bringing together defense manufacturers, military delegations and industry representatives around the latest developments in aviation and security technologies.
A broad portfolio of airborne and autonomous systems
For its debut at the Moroccan exhibition, Elbit Systems is presenting a portfolio covering unmanned platforms, autonomous systems, precision strike capabilities, electronic warfare, airborne protection, intelligence and military communications.
Among the systems highlighted by the company is the Hermes 900, an unmanned aerial platform designed for a range of intelligence and surveillance missions. The company is also showcasing autonomous technologies including THOR, Magni-X and FireFox-X, alongside the SkyStriker loitering munition.
The Israeli group is further displaying the PULS rocket artillery system and LIZARD, a family of laser-guided munitions, reflecting the expanding technological scope of modern precision-strike capabilities.
Focus on aircraft protection and intelligence
Elbit Systems’ exhibition at Marrakech also puts particular emphasis on technologies intended to strengthen aircraft survivability and battlefield intelligence.
The company is presenting MINI MUSIC, an airborne protection system designed to counter infrared-guided missile threats. Another featured solution, SPECTRO 12, is a multispectral payload developed for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance missions, as well as target acquisition.
The range of systems on display illustrates how contemporary defense platforms increasingly combine sensing, data collection, autonomous capabilities and precision engagement within interconnected operational environments.
Marrakech strengthens its international defense profile
Elbit Systems’ arrival at the Marrakech Air Show comes as the Moroccan event continues to attract international defense and aerospace companies. The participation of a major Israeli defense manufacturer adds another dimension to the exhibition’s international profile and provides an opportunity for industry players and military representatives to examine emerging technologies in a common setting.
Beyond the equipment displayed on the exhibition floor, the event serves as a venue for professional exchanges between manufacturers, government and military delegations, and decision-makers involved in aerospace and defense procurement.
A major international defense group
Elbit Systems operates across several dozen countries and employs more than 21,000 people across five continents. The company reported revenue of $2.287 billion in the second quarter of 2026, while its order backlog stood at $32 billion as of June 30, 2026.
Its participation in Marrakech therefore comes at a time when the group is expanding its international industrial and commercial presence, while the Moroccan air show continues to position itself as a platform for showcasing advanced aerospace and defense capabilities.
