"I am pleased to announce that Duke Buchan III will serve as the U.S. ambassador to the Kingdom of Morocco," Trump shared on his social media platform, Truth Social. Buchan brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having previously served as the U.S. ambassador to Spain and Andorra from 2017 to 2021. Born in North Carolina in 1963, he has built an impressive career in finance and investments. He holds a bachelor's degree in economics and Spanish from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, along with a master's degree from Harvard Business School. His academic journey also includes studies at the University of Valencia and the University of Seville in Spain.
