Deceptive Network Unveiled: Over 1,000 Victims Targeted in Swiss Scam
A complex fraud network, allegedly linked to a Moroccan clan, has duped over 1,000 individuals across Switzerland and neighboring regions. Reports from Swiss media reveal that two German siblings are at the center of this operation, which has illicitly amassed several million Swiss francs.
The scheme involved crafting websites that advertised emergency services like plumbing, locksmithing, and pest control, complete with local contact numbers to gain trust. Once engaged, supposed artisans would visit homes, perform minimal work, and demand exorbitant fees, insisting on immediate cash payment.
Despite the scale of the scam, Swiss authorities remain silent on the issue and any potential cooperation with Moroccan officials. The investigation continues to unfold, leaving many questions unanswered.
