Construction: Morocco’s cement market closes 2025 up 8%

Morocco’s construction sector recorded a strong performance in 2025, driven by a significant increase in cement deliveries, according to official data released by the Ministry of Urban Planning.

Over the past twelve months, total cement deliveries across the country reached 14.8 million tonnes, marking an increase of approximately 8.2% compared to 2024. The figures confirm a sustained recovery in construction activity and reflect renewed momentum in both public and private projects.

Data published by the Ministry of National Territory Planning, Urban Planning, Housing, and City Policy highlight the growing dynamism of the cement industry. This positive trend is largely attributed to the performance of companies affiliated with the Professional Association of Cement Manufacturers (APC).

The APC brings together the main players in the Moroccan cement market, including LafargeHolcim Morocco, Novacim, Ciments de l’Atlas, and Asment Temara. Their combined output has played a central role in supporting the sector’s growth throughout the year.

The rise in cement sales underscores the resilience of Morocco’s construction industry amid ongoing economic challenges and signals continued demand heading into 2026.
