Confusion deepens over Mohamed Boudrika's alleged arrest in Germany

Uncertainty continues to surround Mohamed Boudrika, president of Raja Casablanca, amid widespread rumors of his arrest in Germany. These claims, which spread rapidly through Moroccan and international media, have been strongly denied by his family, leaving the situation mired in speculation.

Initial reports alleged that Boudrika had been detained in Germany under an international warrant reportedly issued by Moroccan authorities. According to these accounts, he was en route to Hamburg to meet Raja Casablanca’s head coach Josef Zinbauer, aiming to finalize discussions about the coach’s continued leadership of the Moroccan champions and recent Throne Cup winners.

However, Boudrika’s family quickly refuted the allegations. His son dismissed the reports as “a pure lie,” asserting that his father was at home and in good health. His wife echoed these sentiments, expressing surprise at the rumors and stating that she had no knowledge of any such incident.

Despite these denials, speculation persists. Reports suggest a possible extradition request could be circulating within German legal channels, but no official confirmations have been provided. Efforts to seek clarification from the German embassy and Interpol have so far yielded no response.

Adding to the uncertainty, Boudrika’s official social media accounts recently promoted ticket sales for Raja Casablanca’s friendly match against Real Betis, an activity seemingly at odds with the rumors of his arrest.

For now, the truth remains elusive. With claims and counterclaims continuing to spread, football fans and the Moroccan public await clear, verifiable information about the situation involving the Raja Casablanca president.
