Coca-Cola food festival brings music and flavors to Tangier before final stop in Agadir

The Coca-Cola Food Festival continues its nationwide tour this weekend with a vibrant two-day stop in Tangier before closing its journey in Agadir at the end of the month. The event, scheduled for Saturday, August 23, and Sunday, August 24, promises a rich program blending live music, food experiences, and Coca-Cola's unmistakable brand of conviviality that has defined the festival series since its launch in July.

A hometown performance by Muslim

The opening night on Saturday will feature acclaimed Moroccan rapper Muslim, one of the country’s most influential hip-hop voices. Born in Tangier in 1981, Muslim rose to prominence in the late 1990s and co-founded the group Zanka Flow in 2001. Known for his socially conscious lyrics and strong stage presence, his career has earned him numerous accolades, including being named “Best Moroccan Rapper” by the Ministry of Culture in 2017. His previous performances at major festivals such as Mawazine have been widely noted for their impact.

A festive close with a DJ set

On Sunday, the atmosphere will shift to a high-energy DJ set designed to keep festival-goers dancing until late, offering an urban soundscape that matches Tangier’s cosmopolitan spirit. Visitors can expect a lively evening filled with beats and community-driven entertainment.

A culinary celebration

Beyond music, the Coca-Cola Food Festival in Tangier will highlight gastronomy with curated food stalls showcasing local flavors, paired with the brand’s signature beverage. True to its mission, the festival blends music, food, and togetherness, offering audiences a multi-sensory cultural experience across Morocco’s major cities.

A journey nearing its finale

Since July, the Coca-Cola Food Festival has stopped in Casablanca, Marrakech, and Fès. Tangier now hosts its latest celebration before Agadir, where the series will conclude on August 30 and 31. This traveling festival continues to spotlight culinary creativity, musical diversity, and sustainable engagement, uniting audiences under the banner of culture, community, and celebration.
