Casablanca: hypercentre underground parking opens to the public

Casablanca has inaugurated its new Hypercentre underground parking facility, aiming to enhance the availability of parking spaces in the city center.

Located near the Hyatt Regency Hotel, the parking structure spans two levels, offering 703 parking spaces across approximately 13,000 m² of subterranean area. Above the facility, a public space of 40,000 m² provides additional urban amenities. According to the Casablanca municipality, the project is designed to reduce congestion on nearby streets and facilitate access to the city center.

The Hypercentre parking is open 24 hours a day and features charging stations for electric vehicles, signage adapted for people with reduced mobility, and a reinforced security system combining human monitoring and camera networks.

Dynamic signage within the facility guides drivers for smooth entry, exit, and internal circulation. The parking also integrates a next-generation intelligent management system to enhance user experience.

Municipal authorities confirmed that the pricing structure, whether hourly rates or subscription plans, aligns with rates applied across other public parking facilities in Casablanca, in accordance with current fiscal regulations.
