Casablanca hosts first mab expo for woodworking and aluminum professionals

The city of Casablanca is set to host the inaugural edition of MAB Expo, a new trade fair dedicated to professionals in the woodworking and aluminum sectors. Scheduled from April 24 to 26 at the ICEC exhibition park, the event aims to bring together key players in a rapidly evolving industry.

Organized by Urbacom, the expo will take place under the theme “The artisan, a link of excellence,” highlighting the central role of skilled craftsmen in the value chain. The event seeks to connect artisans, industrial manufacturers, architects, and distributors within a single platform.

The woodworking sector has become a significant contributor to Morocco’s economy, particularly within the construction industry. In recent years, it has represented a growing share of finishing costs, driven by increased demand for modern materials such as aluminum and industrialized solutions.

MAB Expo is designed to support the professional development of workers in the sector while also creating new business opportunities. Organizers emphasize the importance of innovation and knowledge-sharing in strengthening competitiveness.

Over the three-day event, approximately 10,000 visitors are expected to attend. The exhibition will feature themed spaces dedicated to aluminum, wood, design, and finishing techniques, offering an immersive experience for participants.

Attendees will also benefit from live demonstrations of advanced machinery and digital tools, as well as technical workshops and conferences exploring the latest industry trends. A dedicated “Artisans’ Village” will serve as a hub for networking, training, and collaboration among professionals.
