Casablanca club honors top chefs and restaurants 2026 awards
A Casablanca-based culinary association has recognized leading chefs and restaurants during its annual awards ceremony, highlighting the city’s growing gastronomy scene and its role in promoting Moroccan culinary talent. The distinctions were presented during a gala event attended by professionals from the restaurant and hospitality sectors.
The ceremony took place during a formal dinner hosted at a Casablanca restaurant under the direction of chef Brahim Aït Hammou. The event brought together chefs, restaurateurs, and industry guests for the announcement of the 2026 rankings and the presentation of diplomas to selected establishments.
Top honors in the highest category went to several well-known restaurants in Casablanca. These included La Bavaroise with Mourad Moutrib, La Bazenne with Brahim Aït Hammou, Gare aux Gorilles led by Amine and Marion Chraibi, Le 7e Ciel with Édouard Henry, and La Table III with Fayçal Bettioui. Mid-tier distinctions were awarded to L’Avenue, La Braise d’Or at the Marriott Hotel, and Restaurant du Port in Mohammedia. La Cantine de Gauthier received a single fork distinction.
The awards reflect a structured classification system used to evaluate restaurants based on quality, service, and culinary execution. The initiative also reinforces Casablanca’s position as a key hub for dining and hospitality, where established names and emerging chefs compete in a dynamic and evolving market.
