Casablanca celebrates art and culture at the 9th International Festival "Casa Al Hal"

The city of Casablanca is gearing up to host the 9th edition of the International Festival "Casa Al Hal" from November 27 to 29, 2025, at Place Rachidi in the heart of the city. Organized under the theme "From the spirit of the Green March to the glory of Independence," the festival marks the 50th anniversary of the historic Green March and the 70th anniversary of Moroccan independence.

This special edition, organized by the Association of Ghiwane Descendants for Art in partnership with the Ministry of Youth, Culture, and Communication, the Casablanca City Council, and sponsors such as Sahara Coffee-STA, will celebrate Morocco's rich cultural heritage and artistic innovation. With the support of local institutions, the festival aims to highlight young talent and position Casablanca as a hub for cultural dialogue and artistic expression.

A celebration of Moroccan heritage and artistic diversity

"Casa Al Hal" bridges generations of artists, blending traditional and contemporary art forms. The program features a variety of activities, including live music performances from renowned national bands like the Ghiwane Descendants, Gnawa music, and other diverse genres. Visitors can also enjoy a poetry and storytelling evening, an art exhibition featuring photography and painting, and traditional Moroccan games, all reflecting the country's vibrant cultural identity.

Honoring creativity and talent

The festival will honor prominent guests from the fields of art, media, and sports, while also spotlighting young talent. Highlights include the release of a new novel, "The Passage of Two Heroes," by young author Abeer Azeem, and the announcement of winners in youth poetry and art competitions. The event will conclude with a grand artistic evening and a message of loyalty to His Majesty King Mohammed VI.

Organizers emphasize that "Casa Al Hal" has become an annual tradition, celebrating authentic artistic values and showcasing Casablanca as a beacon of creativity and cultural openness.
