CAN 2025: Nigeria, Senegal, Tunisia and DR Congo in action on Tuesday
The 2025 Africa Cup of Nations continues on Tuesday, December 23, with the official kick-off of Group C and Group D matches. Several continental heavyweights will make their tournament debut as the competition gains momentum across Moroccan stadiums.
Group D will open the day’s fixtures with a clash between the Democratic Republic of Congo and Benin at 1:30 p.m. at the El Barid Stadium in Rabat. Later in the afternoon, reigning African champions Senegal, led by star forward Sadio Mané, will face Botswana at 4:00 p.m. at the Grand Stadium of Tangier.
The evening schedule will feature Group C encounters. At 6:30 p.m., Nigeria’s Super Eagles, spearheaded by Victor Osimhen, will take on Tanzania at the Sports Complex of Fez. The final match of the day will see Tunisia go head-to-head with Uganda at 9:00 p.m. at the Olympic Stadium in Rabat.
