Bpifrance and INNOVX Forge Strategic Partnership for Innovation and Sustainability

In a landmark event on April 26, 2024, Bpifrance, the French public investment bank, and INNOVX, a Moroccan multisectoral firm focused on innovative and sustainable enterprises and ecosystems, formalized a strategic partnership agreement. The ceremony was attended by Nadia Fettah Al Alaoui, Minister of Economy and Finance of Morocco, and Bruno Lemaire, Minister of Economy, Finance, and Industrial and Digital Sovereignty of France.

This partnership aligns with the strategic goals of both Bpifrance and INNOVX, aiming to support key projects developed by INNOVX in collaboration with French companies. Bpifrance will bring its financing, investment, and guarantee resources to the table to drive initiatives targeting industrial decarbonization, energy transition, and the strengthening of agricultural value chains.

The agreement also opens the door to co-investment opportunities designed to reinforce these value chains and ecosystems, particularly in innovation, deep tech, and agriculture. By combining Bpifrance's financial expertise with INNOVX's focus on enterprise and ecosystem development, the partnership is set to stimulate the entrepreneurial ecosystem and encourage the growth of high-impact projects.

Youssef EL BARI, CEO of INNOVX, noted, "Our partnership with Bpifrance demonstrates our shared commitment to tackling industrial decarbonization, energy transition, and reinforcing agricultural value chains. This collaboration represents a significant milestone in our journey to create innovative and sustainable enterprises."

Younes Addou, Vice President of Agribusiness & Sustainability Solutions at INNOVX, added, "This partnership with Bpifrance, a leader with a vision aligning with ours, allows us to accelerate the strengthening of agricultural value chains and address food security and sovereignty issues on our continent."

Olivier Vincent, Executive Director in charge of exports at Bpifrance, said, "The partnership between Bpifrance and INNOVX heralds a new era of cooperation between France and Morocco, centered on key sectors like industrialization, decarbonization, and resource optimization. These shared goals create fertile ground for high-value collaborations."

Isabelle Bébéar, Director of International and European Affairs at Bpifrance, remarked, "It's crucial to develop strategic projects between France and Morocco, leveraging our expertise in investment and innovation. This partnership is about focusing on tangible programs in renewable energy, agri-agro, and industry, building connectivity between our ecosystems for the benefit of our companies."

As this strategic alliance takes shape, both Bpifrance and INNOVX aim to drive transformative initiatives that will reshape the industrial landscape, promote sustainable development, and strengthen agricultural value chains, ushering in a new era of Franco-Moroccan cooperation focused on innovation and environmental stewardship.
