Bosch wins contract to supply mercedes with electric motors
German engineering company Robert Bosch GmbH has secured a major agreement to supply electric motors to luxury car manufacturer Mercedes-Benz Group AG. The contract is part of a long-term collaboration aimed at strengthening the production of next-generation electric vehicles.
Under this agreement, Bosch will provide a large volume of electric motors designed for upcoming Mercedes-Benz electric models. The partnership is expected to extend into the 2030s, reflecting the two companies’ commitment to accelerating the shift toward sustainable mobility.
This deal highlights the growing importance of the electric vehicle market in Europe, where traditional automakers are increasingly relying on specialized suppliers to support their electrification strategies. It also reinforces Germany’s position as a key hub for automotive innovation and advanced engineering.
Industry analysts view the agreement as a strategic step for both companies, as Mercedes-Benz continues to expand its electric vehicle lineup, while Bosch strengthens its role as a leading supplier of EV components.
