Banque populaire opens second small business support center in Tangier
Banque Populaire has expanded its support network for very small businesses with the opening of a new Al Moukawil Chaabi center in Tangier, marking its second facility after Marrakech. The initiative targets small entrepreneurs, traders, and artisans across Morocco, as the group moves to bring services closer to local economic actors.
The center offers a full range of services designed for early-stage and small-scale businesses. These include advisory support, project guidance, non-financial assistance, and access to tailored financing solutions. The bank has structured the process to simplify client access and address the concrete needs of entrepreneurs.
The program builds on more than three decades of involvement in entrepreneurship through the group’s foundation dedicated to business creation. The Tangier facility is positioned within the Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima region, a key economic and logistics hub with national and international links.
The new center aims to assist entrepreneurs at every stage of their projects. It forms part of a broader national rollout, with plans to establish similar centers within each regional Banque Populaire network.
Through this expansion, Banque Populaire reinforces its long-term commitment to supporting entrepreneurship and contributing to Morocco’s economic development.
