Bahrain backs Lebanon’s sovereignty and supports President Joseph Aoun

Bahrain has reaffirmed its support for Lebanon’s sovereignty and political stability, expressing strong backing for the efforts of President Joseph Aoun and the Lebanese government to strengthen state institutions and preserve national unity.

In an official statement, Bahraini authorities emphasized the importance of respecting Lebanon’s independence, territorial integrity, and right to make sovereign decisions free from external influence. The declaration reflects growing regional calls for stability in Lebanon amid ongoing political, economic, and security challenges.

Manama also stressed the need to reinforce state institutions and ensure that public authorities maintain full responsibility for national security and governance. Bahraini officials highlighted the importance of implementing international commitments and supporting efforts aimed at consolidating state authority across the country.

The statement further underscored the importance of inclusive national dialogue as a means of addressing internal challenges and promoting long-term political stability. Bahrain called for solutions based on consensus, cooperation, and respect for Lebanon’s constitutional framework.
