Atlas Cubs celebrated by Moroccan Football Federation after U17 African Cup victory
After their historic triumph at the U17 Africa Cup of Nations, the Atlas Cubs were officially honored by the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF). The celebration took place on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at the Mohammed VI Football Complex, where the young Moroccan team was received by FRMF President Fouzi Lekjaa.
This reception marked the recognition of the U17 national team’s outstanding performance in clinching the continental title against Mali during the 2025 CAN held in Morocco, as stated in the FRMF press release.
Surrounded by their families and loved ones, the players celebrated their success in a warm and festive atmosphere, highlighting the unity and pride shared by all.
During the ceremony, President Lekjaa read a message of congratulations from His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, addressed to the U17 team members following their remarkable achievement.
This tribute not only celebrates the relentless effort and dedication of both players and coaching staff throughout the tournament but also adds to the growing legacy of Moroccan football in recent years.
