ASMEX explores new business opportunities in London

The Moroccan Exporters Association (ASMEX), in partnership with the West London Chambers of Commerce, is organizing a B2B mission in London to meet qualified buyers and explore concrete business opportunities. The commercial mission is scheduled from May 11 to 14 and will include targeted B2B meetings, networking sessions, and site visits, according to ASMEX.

The initiative covers various sectors including agri-food, local products, fisheries and seafood, cosmetics, textiles, IT, and offshoring services. ASMEX aims to strengthen trade ties and facilitate market access for Moroccan exporters in the United Kingdom.

Since the entry into force of the Morocco–UK association agreement in 2021, trade between the two countries has grown significantly. According to the UK Department for Business and Trade, the trade value reached £4.4 billion (over $5.9 billion or 60 billion MAD) by the end of the first quarter of 2025, representing a 16.4% increase compared to the previous year.

The mission is expected to further enhance bilateral commercial relations and create new opportunities for Moroccan companies in the UK market.
