ASM International appoints Chris Figee as incoming chief financial officer
ASM International has announced plans to appoint Chris Figee as its next Chief Financial Officer, strengthening the executive leadership of one of Europe's leading semiconductor equipment manufacturers.
The Dutch technology company confirmed that Figee, currently Chief Financial Officer and a member of the Board of Management at telecommunications group KPN, is expected to join ASM on December 1, with his formal appointment subject to shareholder approval next year.
Leadership transition planned
ASM said the nomination will be presented to shareholders during an extraordinary general meeting expected to take place in March 2027.
The structured transition is designed to ensure continuity within the company's financial leadership as it continues to expand its position in the global semiconductor equipment market.
Figee brings extensive financial management and corporate governance experience gained through senior leadership roles in the Netherlands' listed corporate sector.
