Applications open for pan-african entrepreneur contest season two
A new call for applications has been launched for the second season of a pan-african television competition dedicated to entrepreneurship. The initiative builds on the success of its first edition, which reached audiences across multiple regions and positioned itself as a platform for emerging business founders on the african continent. The application window remains open until 12 june 2026 for francophone entrepreneurs based in africa with structured projects and strong growth potential.
The first season recorded wide engagement, including strong viewership in francophone africa and tens of millions of online views. The format combines television broadcasting with digital distribution across a large international footprint. It aims to showcase entrepreneurial talent while connecting selected candidates with global investment networks. The project has become a reference point for business visibility among young african founders operating in diverse sectors.
The upcoming season will follow a structured selection process. Pre-selections are planned across several major african economic capitals in september. Selected candidates will then enter an intensive support programme at a dedicated hub where they will work alongside mentors and industry experts. The process concludes with a final stage in october where participants present their projects to an international jury of investors, with opportunities for funding discussions.
The competition is supported by a network of institutional and private partners focused on strengthening entrepreneurship and economic cooperation in francophone spaces. Organisers present the initiative as more than a contest, framing it as a development platform aimed at accelerating access to capital, skills, and international exposure for african entrepreneurs.
