Ancelotti refutes departure rumors from Real Madrid this summer
Carlo Ancelotti has firmly dismissed rumors surrounding his potential departure from Real Madrid, asserting his commitment to the club for the time being. The Italian coach addressed recent speculations linking him with a move to the Brazilian national team, while also mentioning Xabi Alonso as a possible successor.
In response to questions about his future, Ancelotti made it clear that he would never decide when to leave the club. He acknowledged that a day would come when he would part ways with Real Madrid, but it is not something he can determine. "It could be tomorrow, in a few matches, in a year, or in five years," he explained. He added that he aims to stay at the club for the duration of Florentino Pérez’s presidency, which has four more years remaining. "Together, we can say goodbye," he humorously remarked.
Despite facing significant pressure this season due to a slow start and disappointing performances, Ancelotti remains focused on winning more trophies with his team.
