Akhannouch visits Cairo to strengthen Morocco Egypt cooperation
Moroccan Head of Government Aziz Akhannouch arrived in Cairo on Sunday leading a high-level ministerial delegation aimed at cooperation between Morocco and Egypt.
During the visit, Akhannouch is set to co-chair the first session of the Morocco-Egypt Coordination and Monitoring Committee alongside Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli. The meeting is expected to focus on enhancing bilateral ties and exploring new opportunities for collaboration across multiple sectors.
Upon arrival, the Moroccan delegation was welcomed by Egyptian officials, including the Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Mohamed Farid Saleh. The delegation includes several key Moroccan ministers responsible for foreign affairs, finance, infrastructure, agriculture, industry, and culture.
The committee’s session is part of ongoing efforts to deepen relations between the two countries, with discussions expected to address economic cooperation, investment opportunities, and sectoral partnerships. Both nations aim to strengthen their strategic partnership and promote mutual development through increased coordination and dialogue.
