Afcon 2025: Inwi mobilizes to support the national team
On the occasion of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2025, which will be hosted by Morocco from December 21, 2025 to January 18, 2026, telecommunications operator inwi has announced the rollout of a special initiative aimed at supporting the national team and enhancing the experience of football fans across the country.
As the official partner of Moroccan football, inwi plans to create a dedicated fan zone at Anfa Park in Casablanca. This space will broadcast matches live, with a particular focus on games featuring the Atlas Lions, while also offering a wide range of interactive, sporting and digital activities for supporters.
Visitors will be able to take part in immersive experiences inspired by the national team, including a sprint challenge reflecting the speed and agility associated with star player Achraf Hakimi. A cloud-based gaming animation will also be available, showcasing the capabilities of inwi’s 5G network.
In parallel, the operator is launching a nationwide campaign encouraging Moroccans to rally behind the national team during the tournament. Special offers tailored to fans’ communication and digital needs will accompany this campaign throughout the competition.
Through this comprehensive program, inwi reaffirms its commitment to Moroccan football and its desire to strengthen its connection with the public, in line with its brand promise of closeness and shared passion.
