Achraf Hakimi Extends Contract with PSG Until 2029

Achraf Hakimi, the talented Moroccan right-back, has officially extended his contract with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) until 2029. This significant development solidifies his position as a key figure within the team and reflects the club's confidence in his abilities.

Over the past months, Hakimi has emerged as a central figure in the PSG locker room, where he shares a close bond with teammate Kylian Mbappé. At the start of the season, he was named vice-captain, further highlighting his leadership and influence within the squad.

The 26-year-old defender has been a consistent performer under coach Luis Enrique. Since the beginning of the current season, Hakimi has been one of the most utilized players, participating in nine Ligue 1 matches—scoring once—and four UEFA Champions League games, where he also registered a goal.

Widely regarded as one of the best right-backs in the world, Hakimi is also a cornerstone of the Moroccan national team. His exceptional skills and tactical awareness have earned him recognition both domestically and internationally.

Luis Enrique, known for his high standards and candid evaluations, expressed admiration for Hakimi’s talent in early November. "Of all the players I've worked with, I’ve never seen a better right-back than him. However, he still has room for improvement and possesses enormous potential," the coach remarked.

This contract extension underscores Hakimi's critical role at PSG and his importance to the team's ambitions. As he continues to develop, fans and analysts alike eagerly anticipate his future contributions both at the club and on the international stage.
