Morocco's AMDIE earns top investment promotion award in MENA region

The Moroccan Agency for Investment and Export Development (AMDIE) has been honored as the Best Investment Promotion Agency in the MENA region during the Annual Investment Meeting (AIM 2025) held in Abu Dhabi. This recognition underscores AMDIE's significant role in promoting investment and exports while attracting foreign investment to Morocco.

In addition to the main award, AMDIE was presented with the “Gold Partner” trophy, acknowledging its efforts in enhancing foreign investment opportunities within the country. AMDIE stated that these prestigious accolades reflect Morocco's ongoing commitment to fostering a robust investment climate, driven by strategic reforms under the leadership of King Mohammed VI. The agency highlighted the monarch's vision to establish Morocco as a competitive and forward-looking investment destination.

AMDIE credited this achievement to a collaborative effort involving its partners, teams, and the broader ecosystem, emphasizing the collective dedication that propelled the agency to this esteemed position.

The award ceremony took place during the 14th edition of AIM, themed “Roadmap to the Future of Global Investment: A New Vision for a Balanced Global System.” Morocco was represented at the event by a delegation led by Karim Zidane, the Minister Delegate in charge of Investment, Convergence, and the Evaluation of Public Policies. The country also showcased its national pavilion at the international exhibition, highlighting its economic strengths and investment opportunities across various priority sectors.

AIM 2025 stands as one of the premier investment events globally, attracting over 12,000 participants from 180 countries, including heads of state, ministers, central bank governors, and leading investors. The summit serves as a vital platform for dialogue on global investment trends, covering essential topics such as the digital economy, industry, international trade, and biotechnology.
